Old Edgefield Pottery Located just off the Square, Stephen Ferrell, Edgefield’s renowned potter, mans this “Living History” project, operated by the Edgefield County Historical Society. Mr. Ferrell has a great knowledge of the history of Edgefield Pottery which is known throughout the world. He is able to regale visitors with fascinating stories of the pottery industry in the Old Edgefield District. Open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday. (803) 637-0387.
